Sorry for my absence

I feel like i should say sorry for being away for so long but the thing is i kinda lost inspiration, lost something to write about, and i didn't want to write just for the sake of writing like i was so i decided to stop for a while and get my head back together :)

In My Generation

I was on the Internet and found this poem and i thought it was so amazing that i needed to find a way to share it with others. Its called 'In My Generation'-

"They read in the papers and hear on the air
Of stealing and killing and crime everywhere
They sigh and say as they notice the trend,
'This young generation, when will it end? '
But can they be sure that it's our fault alone,

Home Sweet Home

I had an amazing time in Marrakech and now i am back and hoping i will actually have some more interesting things that i will able to post about but we are quite busy getting back  into normal life so it may be a while

Goodbye for a bit

Im going to Marrakech for 10 days, and im not taking my phone, and i wont have internet so i thought you should know i wont be posting for a bit, but i will fill you in when i get home :)

Exam are over

Finally i have finished my last exam today, so now i have total freedom. I have two days of induction where i get to see what school will be like at A-level...and get given loads of homework. Plus im getting my hair cut tomorrow so im really excited for that.

The Sims 3 Legacy Challenge

Recently I have been considering completing the Sims 3 legacy challenge. I have already got my first heir and have moved her into her new home, the question is if i can keep up the game for 10 generations without using cheats.

Well i was considering that if i could do this first generation, i will start recording them in a blog, of course including the first generation, so lets see how i go with the Spencer Legacy..

Finishing Touches

Now i have finished school i have decided to make a change and use my time off to do the things i have wanted to for a while.

I have started with only little changes, i finally have my dream catcher above my head whilst i sleep, and i made a huge change to the side of my wardrobe, filling it with quotes that i love, and pictures of the people i love.

 All of the books that i have been meaning to read since Christmas are piled up ready, and i have taken up exercise hoping to become a healthier person.

Lets hope i can keep the change up ;)

Royal Jubilee

I'm feeling really patriotic this weekend as we all celebrate 60 years of our Queen.

Well we have bunting around all of the windows, flags in the door and face paint. And best of all we are watching the Royal Jubilee Concert, watching some of our best singers and comedians commemorate her years.

Long live the Queen :D

Goodbye Scrapbooks

My friend came up with this really cool idea that I think needs sharing.

It is the end of our compulsary education soon, and although I am part of a very close group of seven friends, we will all be going our seperate ways. One of my friends said we should all get plain books, decorate them and the take lots of photos to fill them up with, and all write a comment for eachother.

We also all said it would be cool if we all made eachother something small that we can stick in the books, so the artists will draw pictures and i will sit for three days trying to work out what i can make everyone.

I will make sure to put up the finished product as i love to share my friends talents :)

Pen pal

Recently I got a new pen pal from France, and I think it’s really cool that I can learn about another culture and communicate with someone who is very different from me, and also get the chance to help her to learn the English language.

So yeah I don’t know what the point of this is, accept that we have lost touch with some of the traditional things we have done in the past. In England, the villages are twinned with villages in France, and in the past schools would exchange student, so you would go to stay with a French family, and a French child would come to stay with your family. So yeah we should keep in touch with people from around the world in more traditional ways.

Exams

Uhhhh these past few weeks i have been revising so much i have hardly been on the Internet at all, so I'm sorry i haven't blogged but i figured i would fill you in.

I have taken my music exam which I'm pretty sure i haven't done amazing on, i mean what is an Irish lament, and what does that have to do with a Scottish Gaelic song, i don't know?

I have also taken my R.E (religious education) exam and i think i have done okay on that.

I have only taken those two so far but that does still leave 11 to revise for, although I'm gonna try to make sure i have a bit of time to do the things i enjoy, like my blog.

The Avengers Assemble

This film is AMAZING! If given the chance to watch it GO!

For those of you who don't know what the film is about, a very basic plot would be that six superheros, Iron Man, The Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow and Hawkeye, come together and put aside their differences to help save the planet Earth.

Superhero lovers, like my friends who i went with, will adore this film and all of the little references it makes to original movies the hero's have starred in. Even if you haven't seen the original movies, the film has a great easy to follow plot, great action, and a few moments of really funny humour.

So yes i would defiantly recommend this film to anyone and everyone, its just one of those films.

Sorry Guys

Well this is my failure because due to exam pressure i haven't been on a computer for the past like 4 days which means i have missed the beginning of my answer a question everyday in May, so I'm going to delay it until after my exams because although i thought it would be easy to just log onto a computer and quickly answer a question, Ive found its not. So sorry for that and i will let you know when i move it to.

Jimmy Carr

Well I had a great time last night as I went to see the great comedian Jimmy Carr. We started with a late check in to the hotel,  which wasn't to good but then we went to dinner and i had an amazing salmon steak, followed by chocolate brownie.

I'm not gonna talk about the jokes he told in the show, as some of them really aren't appropriate, although one running joke that was funny is that everyone either confuses him with Alan Carr, or thinks he is related to him, and anyone who tried to comment on that got ripped to shreds.After the show he waited for like an hour signing things and talking to people, a sign of someone who hasn't let fame get to their head.

Me and my parents went clubbing once the show was finished, and lets just say we got back to the hotel at 3 in the morning. This means we didn't get up until 10 in the morning and after a very long traffic jam finally got home so i can get some sleep.

Blog Everyday in May

Well I know traditionally it's blog everyday in April, but I only just came up with this idea so May it is.
Everyday for the next month starting next week, I'm going to have a different question which I answer, so if there is anything that you want to know, post the question as a comment on this blog and I will make sure I answer it one day.

Sorry Rant Time

Okay i was really going to try not to do this sort of thing on this blog but then i figured, whats the point in having a blog that non of your friends know about if you cant use it.

I'm sure i have mention my ex boyfriend in a couple of posts and I'm fine (I'm not really but I'm starting to get over it) with the fact he just ended our relationship for no reason, when in the beginning it was him that followed me around like a lost puppy.

Even when i saw on his twitter he is constantly moaning that girls always go for the jerk and never nice guys like him, (which always makes me laugh because looking back on our relationship he was a bit of a jerk, ignoring me in front of his friends and then being very loving when no one could see) well i just got over it because he wasn't interested in me anymore, clearly.

Then came the short relationships with a few girls that dont exactly have the best reputations in the school (lets just say they don't wait for love) which did bug me because why would a guy give up a proper relationship for that sort of thing, and then moan about the fact girls always go for the guys that use them (hypocrite?)

Well i could have lived with all of that if i didn't just go on twitter and see what I'm pretty sure is him flirting with one of my best friends. Well she doesn't seem very interested, but i think i would find that way to awkward. Uhhh i feel like such a bad person for getting jealous at that.

Being good and Revising

In one month i have my final music exam, and I'm really bad at music so me and my friend have decided to spend this week revising and making a revision guide.

My problem with music isn't when it comes to playing the instrument (Keyboard), its the practical side which gets me 40% of a GCSE. 12 pieces of music you would never chooses to listen too, and we have to memories every musical point you can possibly make about it, and features of the time it came from for each of them!

Well anyway we both want to pass the class so we are soldiering on through the work one page of notes for each of them. Maybe i will pass the class, i cant imagine i will get my predicted A but hopefully i wont fail.

And i have just realised in 2 hours i have a keyboard lesson so I'm gonna go and learn how to play First Gymnopedie perfectly :/

College

Well i have been accepted into the college that I wanted to go to, as long as I get the grades that is. I guess its good news, im growing up, I have reached the point where im choosing to learn, year 12.

Also I get to stay with most of my best friends, and most of the people I dont like will leave to go to another college or to find work, and finally I get to wear my own clothes instead of uniform!

Plus because of the subjects I've chosen (Maths, Futher Maths, Physics and Economics) I will actually be doing work that i enjoy, no more P.E.

Just a few more months of exams and then college.

First Follower

I guessed i should do a blog to honour the fact that someone is actually reading this blog so HI, thank you and make sure you give me feedback. :D

Also i thought i would talk a little about procrastination since i have had two weeks off school and have been doing it from the beginning. I was given about four hours worth of homework, and three of those were English, which i don't mind English but three hours of it!

So on my first day i told myself i would get all of my homework out of the way. What i actually managed was to design an exam timetable, organise all of my school work into subjects and to clean my room. Yes it sounds like a lot but when you think about what my actually goal for the day was, i did nothing.

Yesterday was the start of my second week off and it has taken until today to make a start on that homework, one hour down, three to go and i have a really busy week anyway, ohhh well.

Best Day Of My Life

A while ago i did a post on role models and asked you who you look up to, well i think its important to tell you that on Thursday i met one of my role models.

Alex Day is an amazing musician who writes his own music and plays and sings his own songs, and who most importantly is all about the fans and is the least materialistic person i have ever met. On Thursday he held a small gathering in Coventry, which i went to even though its nowhere near my home. He signed my CD, and i got a picture with both him and his cousin Danny Hooper, and both of them, the creators of a card game called Sopio, signed some of my cards.

It was an amazing day and i think it shows how amazing it can be to meet a role model, and make sure you are prepared so you can have things to remember it by.
